Seasons

This summer we did so much swimming. Early spring Chris and i found a secret book listing England's most incredible watering holes, and we made it our business to visit as many as we could. We drove out for miles, even visiting Wales and the most amazing waterfalls at  Coed - y- Rhaiadr, meaning Waterfall Woods, a little snicket of the world full of amazing forest lido's and falling water. I remember the rain and the smell of the trees, the water was tainted a copper colour and you could see what seemed for miles beneath it. I always ended up back at Barcombe Cross, it got pretty busy at peak heat but we visited there this weekend and had the whole place to ourselves. The fish had grown and the sepia ladybugs had disappeared, the place is like heaven. I have had the most incredible summer.
