Lily Cole for Rimmel

I get it! Lily Cole for Rimmel foundation, is this cause she has a face:facial features ratio of like 99:1 ? Seriously, biggest, most face-y face in the business!

:)

The changing of the seasons makes me so ridiculously happy. I went for a run in the early hours yesterday and the dew on the grass got me so excited for autumn that i went out and spent £70 of money i do not have on the most perfect winter coat i have ever seen. I'm making it my business to make the most of the amazing mornings. I dont quite get it, but something about the cold hitting your face whilst the sun beams down on your back really takes me back. Maybe it reminds me of walking to school, knees knocking in the rain, or the kind of holidays where your parents make you get up at the crack of dawn to enjoy every second of the day. Something about it is so pure and i wanna embrace it. If i didn't smoke so much pot i would probably write a poem about this.

girls night in

There’s nothing like the deep breaths after laughing that hard. Nothing in the world like a sore stomach for the right reasons.

things i like #3

I AM SO EXCITED THAT SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER. it's been a drag - sorry to any of you PMA I <3 SUMMER morons out there, but i just cannot wait to be wearing a million layers and getting rosy red cheeks PERMANENTLY til next year. awesome. anyway the only thing annoying me about the forthcoming chill, is the fact that i have been trying so so so hard ot get my mits on a pair of these :

for so so so fucking long already, i was searching ebay for the correct term of 'oxford brogue ladies boots vintage' WHATEVER when the whole time i may as well have just typed in 'INDIE GRANNY BOOTS ALEXA CHUNG I AM AN IDIOT' urgh. Seriously though, i typed in 'granny boots' one day when i was at my wits end of finding these little blighters, and a billion and one results came up, all exactly what i was looking for, all with a million and one bids from gimps who 'also bought hadoukens fifth single and a nu rave shirt' FUCK YOU EBAY. i still want these boots, and i will do them justice.
However, my new favourite thing : BEN SHERMAN. i stumbled across a Ben Sherman store in Reading a couple weeks ago, not only did i find the most amazing chair in the whole entire world:

(yeah, that's me, owning England), but i also decided that from now on I WANT TO LOOK AS GOOD AS THIS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!  Everything i tried on was amazing, i wish i had some goddamn dollaz. URGH. Anyway, i just realised i spent so long on the internet today that Jasmine is now closed and i might not be able to make the sweetcorn pancakes i've been dreaming of all day. To the co - op!

lady gaga's inspiration?

Petros Chrisostomou is insane, i usually cannot stand sculpture artists, or wacky artists, or artists in genral, but he is a mental crazy wacky art-maker who i actually dig, a lot. I saw his skatospore piece, which is basically loads of massive mushrooms stuck together, it was pretty impressive - but his massive gigantic hair pieces are pretty cool, lady gaga would probably jizz in her pants if she came across these. Anyway, his website sucks a bit, i couldnt find much work on there, but it looks like this and you can see more here.

EDIT: MASSIVE MORON ALERT - i didn't actually read any of the write up on this collection, my bad - his pieces aren't massive by any means, they are actually regular sized objects put into carefully made miniature rooms, i couldnt even fucking tell- what an asshole, but still - HOW FUCKING GOOD IS THAT?!
